REVIEW: LEATHERWOLF, SOUL CRUSHER, & MICHAEL MORROW 4/20/2013
Gweedo

My first venture to Jammin' Joe's did not disappoint. It is a small bar that is probably about the size of the Marquis Theater. What brought me out was the lineup. Wolf Pack Productions brought in Leatherwolf, Soul Crusher, and Michael Morrow and The Firewater Rock ‘n’ Roll Medicine Show. Joe's resides in a shopping center. It has a dance floor in front of the stage and a bar along the side. From the sound booth back were tables and pool tables. The ticket price was a steal. Their sound was great for a small bar, and I did not feel like I was going deaf.

REVIEW: BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, HALESTORM, YOUNG GUNS, & STARS IN STEREO 4/12/2013

The Fillmore Auditorium has had no shortage of awesome shows this year. This particular evening had Bullet For My Valentine, Halestorm, Young Guns, and Stars In Stereo. There was a great spread of merchandise from the bands. Halestorm had signed copies of The Strange Case of..., their new CD. Bullet For My Valentine was selling their new CD, Temper Temper, but I was disappointed that it was not signed. The line was a block long when I got in it. If you don’t mind waiting, the Fillmore is nice for trying to get close to the stage since the floor is general admission. When the show kicked off, the floor was about a quarter full.

REVIEW: SEVENDUST, COAL CHAMBER, LACUNA COIL, & CANDLELIGHT RED 4/2/2013
Gweedo

In the wake of April Fool’s comes an insane lineup at the Gothic Theatre; Sevendust, Coal Chamber, Lacuna Coil, and Candlelight Red. This was a fantastic venue for seeing these bands. The theater is small with two stories and has great décor. On the ground level, it is tiered with railings so you can be close to the front but protected from the mosh pit in the middle. All the bands had merchandise out front. Some highlights were the $100 Meet & Greets for Sevendust and Coal Chamber. Also, Sevendust, Coal Chamber, and Candlelight Red were selling signed drumheads. Lacuna Coil had a bunch of signed CDs as well. The downfall was that they only dealt in cash, so you had to make a trip to the ATM if you were planning on buying a lot from the bands. To start, there was a small crowd on the floor and people lining the balcony.
